"Joe Green and his Chicago Giants will be the star attraction in Buffalo on August 15, hooking up with Home Run Johnson's Pittsburg Stars, and on the same day the Kansas City Monarchs play at Detroit. The Missouri bunch have added one of the best, if not the best shortstop, in the league to their aggregation in the person of Moore, a big soldier. Local fans are waiting to see him Sunday week."
