Perritt, who was given a tryout by Rube Foster's American Giants, is pitching great ball for the Stars. Tip Pendleton, formerly of the Pekin Specials, is playing fine ball for the Stars. Johnny Hayes, who was credited with twenty straight strikeouts against the Sacred Hearts. C.I. Taylor should take a look at this pitcher, as he is going at a great clip.
