"Blyth News. - The Buxton Wonders met defeat at the hands of the Blyth Sox, Sunday, May 26. The game was fast and interesting from start to finish. There were several double plays pulled off. The Wonders got only two hits from Beach. The Wonders came to Blyth with the intention of giving the boys a good beating, but were surprised when the game was over."
